It’s been said that some of us live and learn and some of us just live.

From the pen of Craig Nolly.

It’s been said that some of us live and learn and some of us just live.

If we are to take the happenings over the last couple of months what have we learnt.

As we plan our return to normality over the coming weeks and get busy with our lives again will we reflect on our new found vulnerability and how our lives can be turned upside down in a moment.

Will we become more honest with ourselves, accepting the realisation that for most of us a couple of months with nil or reduced income may take years to recover from. For some this realisation will inspire them to action to secure their future vulnerability and for others there will be no lessons learnt.

If you’re like me and have experienced a lengthy disability in the past the value of our insurance seems more clear and obvious. For those of us more fortunate the unexpected is still with all of us every day and the elimination of Covid-19 from our shores is not the end to our risk.

As a husband, father, employer, business partner and financial adviser I urge you to stay strong and maintain your  insurance cover, not only for yourself but for those you love and care about.

If you feel that this is the time for you to get sorted with your insurance needs get in touch with our team and let us take care of you.
