1. The $250 Prezzy Card customer prize draw (promotion period) is conducted by Abacus Group Ltd, and the following terms and conditions apply.

2. By participating in the promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3. The promotion commences on 1st September 2022 and ends on Friday 30th September 2022 at 5pm. (“Promotion Period”).

4. The promotion is open to all existing Abacus Group clients, who receive the 25 years in business email.

Prize Draw

5. To enter the promotion, entrants must submit a google review during the Promotion Period. There is only one entry allowed per client. Reviews that are not submitted according to these terms and conditions will be ineligible.

6. Abacus Group is offering each eligible participant the chance to win one $250 Prezzy Card (“Prize).

7. One (1) Prize winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries by Monday 3rd October (or such later date as required by Abacus Group) (“Prize Draw”).

8. Abacus Group will deliver the Prize to the Prize winners by Friday October 28th, 2022 (or such later date as is required by Abacus due to Covid-19 alert level restrictions). The Prize will be able to be collected from the Abacus Group office or by tracked courier to the address confirmed by the Prize winners.

9. If, after reasonable efforts have been made by Abacus Group, a Prize winner cannot be contacted by Friday October 28, or has communicated to Abacus that they do not want the Prize, Abacus can at its discretion:

a. Deem the Prize winner to have forfeited their right to the Prize; and

b. Re-draw another eligible Prize winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.

11. Abacus will not be liable to any person for any damage caused to the Prize, or if the Prize is lost, stolen or goes missing, after the Prize is dispatched for delivery to the Prize winner.

Events affecting delivery of and entitlement to the Prize

12. Abacus will not be required to provide any person with a Prize where, in Abacus’ sole discretion that person is not (or is no longer) eligible.

13. Abacus Group staff members and their families are ineligible to enter.

14. Any delays in stock of Prize are not the responsibility of Abacus Group.

15. The Prize is the sole responsibility of the Prize winners. The Prize is not transferable, not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

General

16. Abacus, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to discontinue, extend or amend the Promotion at any time without notice to any person for any reason. Abacus will only do this where it considers it is reasonable to do so.

17. Abacus’ decision on any matter regarding the Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

18. Subject to any obligation under law, such as the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986, Abacus will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Prize.

19. Abacus takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted, or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, incorrect email address on record, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of the Promotion.

Privacy

20. Each participant accepts and agrees that Abacus may use and disclose the participants name for the purposes of conducting the promotion and for marketing and promotional purposes. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 by contacting Abacus Group Ltd in writing at P O Box 22, New Plymouth, 4340, or by calling 06 7590111.

21. Participants agree that Abacus Group is entitled to use their name and or photograph for marketing, promotion, communication, and publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion.
